Travel information
The most convenient and cheapest:
MARTA (Atlanta's subway/rapid-rail)
from the Atlanta airport. Follow signs from baggage claim. The fare is
$1.75. Purchase a token at the station before boarding the train.
All trains go Northbound, so take the next train leaving the station.
The trip takes about 30 minutes.
Probably the best way to get to the Hotel and Conference Center is to
get off at the Midtown Station (N4). Exit the station on the Peachtree
Street side. From there you can take the Tech Trolley (hours available
here),
which will stop at the GT Hotel and Convention Center.
Alternatively, get off at the North Avenue Station (N3, the stop before
Midtown Station), walk 1 block west to Spring Street, turn right (north),
and walk three blocks to the GT Hotel and Convention Center.
Approximate taxi fare from Atlanta Airport is $20.00. Travel time is
about 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
