Paper format

  1. Format your camera-ready manuscript according to the IEEE requirements found here (http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html) (for Latex, use conference option);
  2. Papers should include a title, full list of authors along with their organization and email address, and an abstract of fewer than 200 words;
  3. The titles for concise papers should be:
    Concise Paper: title
  4. Papers must be in PDF format.  Regular papers must be no more than 12 pages and concise papers must be no more than 6 pages.  Pages should NOT be numbered;
  5. Papers must be compatible with IEEE Xplore. Authors MUST use the IEEE PDF eXpress website (http://www.pdf-express.org/) to convert their manuscripts to compliant PDF files or check if their manuscripts are compliant with IEEE Xplore BEFORE uploading. 
    1. First-time users should do the following:
      1. Select the New Users - Click Here link.
      2. Enter the following:
        • 33528X for the Conference ID
        • your email address
        • a password
        • Continue to enter information as prompted.
      3. An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.
    2. Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
  6. The appropriate copyright clearance code notice must appear on the bottom of the first page of each paper according to the guidelines set forth in the IEEE Intellectual Property Rights. 
    1. For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
    2. For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-4799-6204-4/14/$31.00 ©2014 Crown 
    3. For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-4799-6204-4/14/$31.00 ©2014 IEEE

      The copyright notice must be inserted manually. In the MS Word template there is a text box at the bottom of the first column (for identifying sponsors) that can be used.  When using latex, insert the appropriate copyright notice right after \documentclass.  For example, the commands for the last case above are

Page limits

  • Main conference regular papers: 12 pages (hard limit)
  • Main conference concise papers: 6 pages (hard limit)
  • Workshop papers: see workshop website
  • PhD forum papers: 3 pages (hard limit)

Paper submission

  • Please use EDAS (http://edas.info) to upload your paper by August 15 August 22, 2014.
  • If you experience any problems during the upload process of your paper on EDAS, please contact help@edas-help.com.

Copyright form

  • Please complete and submit the IEEE eCopyright Form for your paper before the camera ready paper submission deadline. You can reach the IEEE eCopyright Form from the EDAS system. Just look for the link for your ICNP paper under your "My Papers" tab in the system and follow the directions (available soon). Papers without a completed copyright form will not be published.

Registration

  • At least one author of an accepted paper must be registered at a FULL (non-student) conference rate by camera ready paper submission deadline. Papers without an author registration by this date will be dropped from the final program. Please register on-line through the conference registration page.
